MTN Disgusting service as per usual

Where do I begin when it comes to this sorry excuse for a service/ network provider?

I've been having a contract, well 3 contracts with MTN and I have never fallen behind with payment for the 3 years that I had them. I had to change my debit order to a self payment when MTN double debited my account and expected me to wait 5 days for a refund...ooooh but that's not the end of it. January 2020 I called into the customer care center to explain that for the next coming 4 months I will be on unpaid maternity leave and if I could make a payment arrangement for the months ahead and I was advised that because my account is not in arears it would not be possible and that I would have to call back once it has fallen into arears to make the payment arrangement. I started my maternity leave mid January and lock down soon followed thereafter. During my maternity period I made small payments to my contract account as much as I could afford at the time. MTN than proceeded to suspend my service for the month of March, the entire month, leaving me with no service, no bank account as it was linked to my cell number therefore I was not able to make a payment to reactivate the account, tried calling the call center to no avail numerous occasions, I managed to make a payment but my service remained suspended for another 2 weeks thereafter until I had to go onto their website and complain to MTN South Africa. I returned back to work on the 1st of June, well aware that my account has now fallen into an arears and I proceed to call and make payment arrangements each month what I can afford until my account will be settled. I called in 2 + months ago to make an arrangement and was advised that they not able to assist as the account is now 90 days in arrears and will be handed over to credit management. I asked the lady if there's a possibility that the account could be stopped and I'm no longer billed as my service is already suspended so that I may catch up on payments on the account, the lady advised that that would only happen once the account reaches the legal department. The lady further stated that the credit management department will give me a call within the next coming days...( on what number I wondered as I have no working number because its been suspended, but who am I to do their job for them).Never received a call since...

Yesterday (12/10/2020) I had to call in once again to make a payment arrangement and by miracle someone answered the call...I spoke to Robert Bongani from credit management department and he was extremely rude, did not listen and lacked understanding. it amazes me that his even working in that department, he is absolutely clueless about his own job. I tried to confirm with Robert what the lady stated regarding stopping the account to pay off the amount in arears and he suddenly became confused failing to understand a simple question and a lot more simple questions there after, so much so that he rudely dropped the call in my ear without providing me with a reference number for the call. now my argument is that Yes I am in arears, Yes I would like to settle this account. I have been making payments on a monthly bases, not the full amount but I have been making payments and someone that doesn't know how to do his job to come and tell me that I must just pay the full amount as if he knows my financial status is pathetic. Robert went on further to not only cancel my contract but to deregister my entire number without my approval. I strongly suggest that MTN better skill their workers especially in departments relating to accounts or finance...its poor, its pathetic, its disgusting its sad really.
