MTN Direct is a Huge ****. Do not sign up with them!!!

I would like to share my utmost dissatisfaction and disgust with how I was ****med by MTN direct. I was called by an Agent by the name of Noxolo from MTN direct who offered me a Laptop Device with a router on contract. After her sales pitch I was convinced and signed up for the contract on 15/11/2024 with reference number: ***. She told me that my device would be delivered within 5 to 7 working days. Trusting that this would happen as she sold it me, I gave her my banking details for the monthly debit order. I have been following up on the order and to my shock I am being transferred from pillar to post with no feedback on my order. This Noxolo girl is now nowhere to be found and I am always being told that she will call me back which she never does. I am absolutely horrified at the service I have received from MTN and would advise that no one sign up for a contract over the phone. It is a HUGE ****!!! Today I was given another number to follow up with and I tried to cancel the whole thing and I cannot even do that!! I spoke to a Nerashnee today 28/11/2024 and she gave me a reference number of *** and said the cancellation will only take effect within 5 to 7 working days!! I now cannot even go to a physical MTN store for this device because of this pending application. To say that I am frustrated would be an understatement!!!
