MTN dimwit logic
<p>I cancelled a debit order with MTN and subsequent to that noticed they still put the debit through to which i reversed. now they charge me RD charges to which i refuse to pay. their response below. Hkw is it that they are allowed to do whatever they please with no consideration of customers????</p> <p> </p> <p>Thank you for emailing Customer Care.</p> <p>Kindly be advised as per the attached email and our system records the Debit order was cancelled on the 19-09-2016 and the Debit order was set for the 26-09-2016.</p> <p>The Debit order gets scheduled fifteen days before the debit order date.</p> <p>Therefore when the Debit was cancelled it was already scheduled for the provided debit order date.</p> <p>The RD admin fee is for the return debit order.</p> <p>Please be advised you are liable for the RD admin fee as the debit order was reversed and no credit can be passed.</p> <p> </p>

Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns and affording us the opportunity to address them.
Our records indicate that the debit order was cancelled on 19-09-2016 while the Debit order was set for the 26-09-2016 seeing as the mag tape runs 15 days prior to the actual debit date.
You then reversed the debit order hence why you were charged the R11.40 fee.
We sincerely hope that the above is in order and that we are able to restore your faith in us.
