MTN - Different story every day!

I want to switch for MTN to another mobile network, but in order for me to do so, my sim card must be made prepaid. When I contacted MTN to find out when my contract expires, they first of all kept on changing the expiry date. First they said it was the 7th then the 8th and finally the 9th of Aug. When I contacted the call center they said the migration of the sim will take 2 - 24 hours. It is now 72 hours since I contacted them and my sim is still not on prepaid.
When I phoned again today they came with another story and said that apparently there is now a backlog in the migration department and it will now take anything form 3 - 7 work days for the migration to take place.

I am so tired of all their excuses!! We have to pay a for a service that is non existing!!
