MTN denies cancelling contract for deceased

It’s tough enough having to deal with the death of a loved one, but MTN have managed to take it one step further and legal team deny cancelling the phone contract for the deceased as it is owed by his still living wife. The lack of empathy by such an organisation is greatly distressing. He was a long term loyal customer never with payment issues and this is the way MTN choose to end what was originally a good relationship. I beg to understand what his wife is going to do with a second phone for the remainder of the contract other than reliving the traumatic event every month when the direct debit not only reminds her of the sad event but further wastes her limited pension. MTN - this is hugely disgraceful - shame on you.
