MTN delaying repairs until warranty expires

I handed in my iphone 2 months before the warranty was due to expire as my phone was not picking up any MTN signal. After a month of MTN having my phone they sent me a message that my "find my phone" was still activated and charged me a R330 fine. They then sent my phone back to me, but hadn't repaired it. I then sent my phone back in for repairs, but a week later my warranty expired. They now have quoted me R6000 to fix my phone. IF I choose not to fix it, I have to pay another R330 just to get my broken phone back.

My whole issue is that my phone was still under warranty when MTN took possession and because MTN did not want to pay for my phone to be fixed, they used delay tactics and backlog excuses to let my warranty expire. MTN actions are the most dishonest and disgraceful I have ever experienced. To delay fixing a phone so that the warranty can expire is absouletly shocking. I have tried numerous times to get hold of somebody that could help me rectify this but as usual nothing gets done. the MTN branch and the repair shop keep blaming each other, but still nothing gets done. How do I get my phone fixed and returned to me as per my warranty conditions???????? Do I have to get Cell C to buy me out of this contract?????? So upset and dissapointed. Doubt anybody will get back to me, but I am going to take this further if I do not get my fixed phone back asap.
