MTN delaying cancellation of contract
I visited MTN in December 2015 to cancel my contract. After initially been told it would be cancelled immediately I was then told it takes a month. Although unhappy I agreed as I was going away on holiday. It is now February and my contract is still not cancelled. Your staff at the store don't know what's going on. Email from your staff at retentions go unanswered and now I receive a billing for R300. What for ?? I don't quite understand. It seems to be that MTN is intentionally and ********ly continuing with a contract and debiting my account. I have no qualms about reporting this matter to the consumer commission and also issuing a summons against MTN for all amounts debited from account since December as well as costs for all the time and effort spent trying to sort out a simple cancellation request. I am a lawyer and have the resources available to do this. I'm sick and tired of this nonsense and obvious thievery. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT I WILL NOT BE PAYING ANY FURTHER AMOUNTS TO MTN AND SHOULD MY ACCOUNT BE DEBITED FURTHER I WILL ISSUE SUMMONS. Any further corespondence can be direcred to my husband and lawyer Faizeen Sader *** and [Email Removed]
