MTN Defiles the CPA and the Law

I have phoned, made posts on Facebook, tried to inbox of FB and previously complained on Hello Peter with no response. As much as you feel I owe you money, you continue to hold my sim as post-paid after instruction to change to prepaid on 30 Jan 2015 and multiple times thereafter (of which you confirmed was done...twice!). You have confirmed cancellation of my contract as at 29 Jan 2015. I am unable to load airtime on my sim because of your constant incompetence of not changing it. I am not liable for any charges to you. YOU are responsible and liable for the continued connectivity I have because I am unable to load pre-paid airtime.
You are in violation of the following rights of the CPA:
- Consumer Right 4: Right to Disclosure of Information
- Consumer Right 6: Right to Fair and Honest Dealing
- Consumer Right 9: Right to Accountability from Suppliers
I am sick of your constant lies and your inability to adhere to legal terms. FIX YOUR STUFF UP OR FACE CHARGES! And I will gladly go to head office and let everyone know about your disregards to customers. DON'T DARE GIVE ANOTHER EMPTY REF NO. I HAVE LOTS! You are an utter DISGRACE!

Hello TANYA C,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I am terribly sorry for the inconveniences experienced as a result this. I completely understand the frustration it causes. Kindly note that we have migrated the number to pre-paid and a credit was passed for the February invoice.

Best regards
Mantoa
