MTN- *********!!
Very disappointed with MTN. I ordered a device (Huawei P30 Lite) which comes with a dual sim port- I specifically ordered a device that has the capacity to host 2 sim cards (for business purposes). Upon ordering the device, an MTN consultant assured me that I would be able to use 2 sims in the phone. Once I received the phone, the sim card provided was firstly not activated (for which I spent over an hour on calls trying to find out what was happening). I was transferred from one department to the next before someone was finally able to understand what was wrong... When I placed my second sim into the second sim port- it was not being read by the device. I proceeded to contact MTN's surpport department, who were of ZERO assistance and rather advise that MTN CHOOSES TO DISABLE THE SECOND SIM PORT! How are they able to advertise a device and say that it has certain specs when they take it upon themselves to disable it???? Isn't this false advertising??? So, is it legal???
Once again, the telecommunication industry proves to be useless and actually *********. None of there assistance departments are competent and insist I go to the store, while the store insists that I call their help centres. Pathetic, and this, from a telecommunications giant in SA.
