MTN Debited My Account But Still Listed Me as a Missed Payment

I have two missed payments on my credit report that MTN has acknowledged were their mistake.

December 2024: My debit order payment for MTN cleared on time

First week of January 2025: I contacted MTN to inform them of the error. MTN admitted the missed‐payment entry was incorrect and asked me to wait two months for the correction.

January–March 2025: The two months elapsed with no change on my credit report.

End of March 2025: another missed payment entry is made by MTN.

April 2025: l contact MTN regarding the March entry - they acknowledged their mistake. They then referred me to CBS. CBS then told me that MTN had refused to authorize the correction, and instructed me to return to MTN.

Since April 2025: I have sent multiple emails to MTN (attaching bank statements and MTN’s admission of fault), but have not received any response or correction.
