For a first account to start a credit record I opened an account in November 2016 at Tygervalley Mall, all was fine till my first debit order was meant to come off and bounced on the 30/11/2016, I was currently in hospital and only noticed on the 6th of December that it had bounced "insufficient funds" charging me R4.75 and called in and asked them why as I had enough money in the account. They took the money that day on the 6th like I asked no problem with the debit order going through when I called. On the 31st of December again " insufficient funds" R4.75, I went into MTN N1 City and Clayton Muller logged a fault REQ: ********** along with bank statements showing sufficient funds in my account. I didnt pay the account because MTN was charging me for debit orders being returned, they then sent me an sms saying my outgoing call service had been susspended due to nonpayment, yet my internet/data , sms and even afrihost mobile data wasnt working because my whole service was cut, I paid EFT and service was restored. I went in yesterday 27/01/2017 and logged another REQ: ********** as I hadnt recieved any contact from MTN. And the last request shwed no documents attached (but why not call me to ask me to send them again?!) . Today 28/01/2017 I called in to head office as going into MTN store has had no success, I spoke to a woman who kept saying the situation has been escalated and that I must keep calling in to find out the status of my REQ, she keps saying she understands,,,no she doesnt understand! I am in a 36 month contract with a company that obviously just wants their money, yet when i have an issue becuase my credit rating is dropping and money being taken from me, they take their sweet time getting back to me. #pathetic

Dear Chante,
Thank you for your post and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Please note that the previous query logged on your behalf in regards to your debit returned issue, shows that there were indeed insufficient fund in your account at the time of debit order going off. If you dispute this, kindly forward me the copy of your bank statement, you can send it to ***
Based on my findings I will then be able to offer a better resolution if your statement shows that there were indeed funds available.
Thank you for your patience in this regard.
Many thanks
Kind regards
Tarryn Bennett

Best regards,
You say in your reply to my issue that it "shows that there were indeed insufficient fund in your account at the time of debit order going off" yet you ask "If you dispute this, kindly forward me the copy of your bank statement". I have emailed you my bank statements (submitted for the 3rd time now). I'll wait to hear from you.
