In July, I walked into MTN Hemingways to separate two accounts I had had since November 2017. I was told that the one I needed to transfer was successfully done. This meant I was to continue with a R199 monthly. In August I received a bill of R1010.46 which I ignored as I thought it was an error, it resulted in my account being suspended. I went back to MTN and was told it was the July account and from August, it will be only R201 for the data contract. Lo and behold, on 30 August, MTN sent me another statement of R1212.17 for August which is due today. I have noted that the amounts fluctuate on a fixed contract for something known only to MTN. What is this **************** all about? Will they suspend my phone again? Why? Are they double-billing me and the new owner? How can a 10G data cost me R1212.17? Watch out people.
