MTN Datalive (PSD) Charges

I have a contract with MTN with a debit order. It has been the same amount for months so I don’t bother looking at my monthly statement, why would I. So yesterday (27/09/2016) MTN decided to send me the follow SMS: “Yello. This is a reminder that you have exceeded your credit limit of R2,366.00. Your services have now been suspended for outgoing calls. Kind Regards, MTNSA.”

First of all, how is if this a reminder? I had a look on my statement and this was invoiced in August, we are now in the end of September?

Secondly, this is impossible. I have never exhauster my CAP and when I come close I always buy a top up bundle.

Thirdly, making it more frustrating is that when I took out the contract it was set so I would be cut off from any access to the Internet so that I would not fall into the “Out of Data” price.

Please explain to me how this is possible and how MTN is going to fix this problem as there is no way that this can be correct?

I appreciate your speedy feedback.

Kind Regards,

And yet again, MTN has failed.
I received a sms from MTN saying : "Dear Customer, We apologise sincerely for the billing issue being experienced. Please bear with us as we address this. We will update you on our progress."
Four days later they decided to take off the debit order off without fixing the issue or consulting or informing me on what is going on.
