MTN DATA SIM PRORATA EXCESS CHARGES

I took a 60gb data sim contract in 2018 on black friday. I was billed R299 for the duration of the contract. Now in the contracts final month I was billed R2049.

Through the shock I called the MTN call centre all they said is its because of the prorata charge because the contract is ending. How disgusting no where in the contract does it stipulate this. All they said is I have to pay it and upgrade or I will be charged this every month.

I got no call or warning or anything. This is ********* and greedy from a company that's already robbing its customers on a daily basis.

I would warn anyone who takes a data sim with mtn to be aware of these extra charges and risks.
