MTN Data ****
Got shafted again...You can buy uncapped data from this useless provider for R40 for a day. Thing is as soon as you have done that the data is as useless as the company. Whilst purchasing the data there is NO prompts about fair usage...once purchased you can use 150mb @ and then for the 1st time you are subjected to a fair usage policy?! It is so slow you can not do anything and I mean anything with the remaining data except if you are a buffering 4 ever addict. To get connectivity again, you have to discard (lose) the purchased data to connect via your useful provider. So they force you to pay & then force you to chuck away money to continue, so you can use other data plans from other service providers you have paid for. Be aware that not even Zuma / Gupta's could make money disappear this easily- prepaid data with MTN is a money for nothing ****!!

I am sure MTN use the volume of bad complaints as a means not to deal with any complaints. List is just growing too fast, maybe they are using their own service hence the no or slow response.

I am saying that there is no indication or reference or prompt or indication or alert or notification when you are buying data via your mobile indicating that a fair usage policy is applicable or even what the fair usage t's &c's are? It does not even make reference to the website you are referring me to now. I am thinking because if a customer should see that, and know that they will buy uncapped data but only be able to use 150MB and the remainder of the bundle comes at snails buffering pace they will not make the purchase...grab the money first, clever like that MTN
