MTN Data Package

I was called by a company called CCi who sold me a package deal telling me they will be crediting my existing cellphone contact with an additional 40gigs which was 20gigs anytime and 20gigs night for R199 which would credit my existing MTN number because I did not need another number. I told the sales person I was happy with that because it cost me R149 everytime I purchase 1gig. Sanelisiwe Simelale was the sales person representing CCI on behalf of MTN. She advised me once I received the sim card I should activate it and then the data would credit my current MTN number aswell, I confirmed with her numerous and she agreed. I've been trying for the past 2 months to stop this contract but now I am liable to pay to have it cacelled and my account has been debited for this data sim I was promised which would credit my current MTN number I already have. I took time aside to sort this out but I have just been pushed from one person to another. If I do not receive my refund nor have the contract canceled I will go to the Ombudsman and seek assistance that route because MTN retention department also advised me there is nothing they can do to assist me.

If I don't receive any assistance regarding this in the next 2 days I will be laying a complaint against MTN via the Ombudsman. I was given this reference number *** which apparently would've been escalated to the necessary department to deal with my query.
