MTN Data disaster: A cell phone bill of R5000

<p>I am typing this on behalf of my mother who has received a data bill from #mtn for an amount of more than R5000. None of the branches were able to see where this amount came from and she was forced to pay it. Doing a bit of research lead me to the conclusion that there are others with the same misfortune with this service provider. I think this ridiculous and should be handled in according to the consumer protection act. What steps can be taken ?</p>
