MTN data contract

Kindly assist with this matter, I had a contract phone with MTN, and the contract was coming to an end in May. Then on the 10th of March I got a call from mobile plus (MTN) offering me a data contract of 80 Gig per month for R99.00 and told me I won’t have to pay for the remaining 2 month of the phone contract which was R 500.00 a month. I agreed and took the contract as they also said we can share the data between MTN numbers. Only to find out that the data is only for Netflix and that’s not what they said. The number in question is *** (used by my wife) I made a lot of calls trying to resolve this but they kept transferring me from one department to another, I requested for the recording to prove that the deal they are giving me now is not the one we agreed on, MTN even told me to contact mobile plus to resolve this matter with and I did that (ref *** and they also gave me the run arounds from one department to another without any solution. I then called MTN for several days requesting to speak to a manager, but no one was helping me, at times they would put me on hold for more than 30 minutes with the hope that I would give up, but I would until they hung up from their side. I kept on calling them every day and asked to speak to a manager till they transferred me to a lady called Dumela on ref (***) and she promised me that they are cancelling the data contract and I won’t pay any cancellation fee as it was not my fault. She even told me to continue paying for the remaining 2 month then the carryon paying for the other phone which I took last year. The total amount that I was paying was R 1 300 monthly as my own phone is R 800 plus my wife phone R 500, so according to the deal I was supposed to pay R 900.00 monthly R 800 + R 99.00 but to my surprise, I got an SMS saying I must pay Monthly instalment of R1 678.00. I made a lot of calls with lot of ref numbers but no one to assist. They randomly block both my phones and each time I will have to call them to unblock Ref *** Lerato Ntuli said she will send her manager a mail to call me, but no one called. Ref *** Dumela **** to me and say she cancelled the contract. Ref *** transferred me to another department without any help. Ref *** Neo molema informed me the contract is not cancelled and advised me to call mobile plus. Ref *** Reagan from mobile plus told me to call MTN as on their side they don’t do cancellations All I want is to get the data contract cancelled as I always requested.
