MTN DATA AIRTIME
i have purchased airtime and data 3 x already in one day, I had switched off my data when recharged to transfer data , like I would normally do.. but to my surprise my data and remaining airtime for some reason I don't know disappeared without even serving the net or being on my insta or whatup status updates. I called them in the lady was just not clear of what had happened with my data, MTN is day light ******* I had never thought I would experience this with them I have been with them for the past 10 years if not beyond first time I am experiencing this data airtime thing . I am not even subscribed to any content services.. I am seriously disappointed and require urgent response regarding the data and airtime disappearance,..

Please note some of the tips below to save on data :
Allow Only Selected Apps to Use Your Cellular Data
Make sure to allow only selected apps to use data. It has always been one of the game changer tricks for me in fixing the fast data usage. So, give it a try.
Step #1. Tap on Settings → Cellular (Mobile in some cases).
Step #2. Toggle off the switch next to the app which you no longer want to use data.
Disable Location Services
One of the easiest tricks to prevent fast data consumption is to use Location Services only when it's needed.
Step #1. Launch Settings app → Privacy.
Step #2. Tap on Location Services.
Step #3. Toggle off the switch next to Location Services.
Turn Off Background App Refresh
Background App Refresh is known to consume not just a lot of power but also data. Hence, it's better to turn it off.
Step #1. Open Settings app → General.
Step #2. Tap on Background App Refresh.
Step #3. Toggle off the switch.
Disable Auto-Downloads and Updates Using Cellular Data
Disabling auto-downloads and updates can be good for the health of your cellular data as well.
Step #1. Open Settings app → iTunes & App Store.
Step #2. Turn off the switch next to Use Cellular Data.
