MTN Customer Service - The Client is not important at MTN - The Client is ONLY a NUMBER
<p>I was going to make a payment to my Absa account, using my Nedbank internet banking service. on 27/06/2016, but for some reason I used my MTN beneficiary code, instead of the Absa beneficiary code. I tried to reverse the payment, by contacting Nedbank, but they refered me to MTN for a refund, but MTN referred me back to Nedbank. I could not get ahold of a customer helpdesk person, so I forwarded an email on 27/06/2016, and explained that the money is my monthly living, but only received a reply on 07/07/2016. After a couple of emails between MTN and myself, I received an email on 22/07/2016 (25 Days since my first email) which informed me that an request was logged for my refund, BUT it will take between 21 - 30 working days for the refund!!!!?????? After explaining my predicament, that this money is actually my montly living allowance, they ignored it. This is what "going the exstra mile" means at MTN. You are not treated as a person but some number on their system. </p>
