MTN Customer service non existent

In reply to my initial complaint against MTN, Alice v d Merwe had a copy of my contract sent to me within 3 days Not once in the past two months was I ever informed that MTN started a clean state with Nashua clients who were taken over by MTN. An email received from Nashua prior to their closure informed us that our contract would continue for the duration (in my case was a further 12months)
Bayside branch MTN could not assist me or find my details on their system. I was told to contact MNT directly. Numerous phone calls, Email's from 13/12 to customer service and every MTN email address I could find gave a different ref number.
Due to MTN inefficiency I receive a copy of my contract 2 days after it elapsed. Had your customer service been as efficient as you in handling my query, I would have received a copy of my contract within 48 hours of 14th December Samsung would have honoured their 24 month screen repair clause. Hello Capelass10,

Thank you for your post.

We apologize for any inconvenience incurred.

As explained MTN has taken the contracts over from 1 December yes the contract carried over as per the Nashua systems however Nashua has not carried over any previous correspondence or copy of contracts before the 1 December. All copy of contracts is with Nashua.

We do not pick up any notes on the system from the dealership or yourself that you have requested for the copy of the contract until you have posted the complaint on hello peter. The copy of the contract can only be requested from Nashua help desk. It is not possible for the store not to pick up any account information, they could have used the ID number and this would have reflected the account information. Please take this up with the store manager.

The contract has not been signed with MTN Direct but with Nashua. No notes reflect for the 13-12-2015 your first request from Hello Peter was on the 18-12-2015.

MTN cannot be held responsible to assist with the repair of the device.

Kind Regards,

Alice van der Merwe
