MTN customer service non existent

I have booked my phone in for repair at MTN Middelburg mall on the 3rd September. On their request I contacted them after 4 weeks to get a progress report. This morning they informed me that the phone has not been accepted for repairs yet as they apparently need the proof-of-purchase!! <br> IT IS A CONTRACT PHONE, DELIVERED TO MY BY COURIER FROM MTN HEADOFFICE A YEAR AGO!!!<br> Why did they not contact me after the first week when the phone was returned unrepaired!!! I gave them 3 contact numbers on the technical fault report!!!! <br> Now only this guy wants to talk to his regional supervisor but to find out what he must do!!<br> It has been 4 weeks with me borrowing someone else's phone ***... Is it now going to go to 8 weeks or more since I gave them the phone before I get it retuned?<br> This is totally unacceptable!!!!
