Mtn customer service

My mtn number does not go through to customer care, to call customer care I had to use my telkom number (which uses airtime) mtn customer care says my mtn number was blocked from calling customer care because the previous owner was verbally abusing them. They unblocked it, it was only active for a day. I struggle each time I need help from them, bad network such a shame that it's been around for such a long time yet behaving amateurish
