MTN - customer service

I have been trying to get hold of someone to assist me at MTN with my new upgrade as the cell does not receive short code verification PINS for authentication on certain apps.

I get transferred repeatedly. lines get cut off repeatedly and I mean like 6 times.

No one knows what to do and no one can help.

I have been on the line to them for about an hour today trying to sort this out.

last week i called them as well same issue.

It is not a supplier issue but an MTN issue and they don't answer calls and don't know how to solve this issue.

It has been the most frustrating thing Ive had to deal with.

Hello Ishie, I have the upgrade (Iphone X) so its with the new device. I cannot receive the short pin verification codes (as sms) on the cell. But i do receive sms's. My issue whilst the problem is very significant whats even more of a concern to me is that I got passed from person to person and then every time I called 1555 or anyone the lines got cut off and no one calls you back. I spent an hour on the cell yesterday and an hour today whilst getting transferred to from person to person and getting cut off all the time. This was beyond frustrating.

Someone in my office suggested I put sim into y old cell to see if I would receive the Codes on the old cell. Still nothing so it has to be an MTN issue not the phone as it also doesn't work on my old cell phone.
