MTN Customer care contact

How in the world do I speak to someone at MTN. I dial 135 according the website. All I get is that the recordings of choices, but there is no option to speak to an assistant. My line is continuously offline. I try to call and find out why my line is always going to voicemail, yet I can call from that number. This is the most frustrating I have ever been with MTN. I have been I customer for over 15 years, yet I have never struggled to get through and ask a simple question.
