MTN credit check fail

I noticed recently that MTN's pricing has become very competive, and I'm looking for a contract with unlimited airtime - which they offer for R999, while Vodacom is asking R1899.

After selecting the contract on their website, a consultant called me, did my credit check, and informed me that I'm only worthy of a contract to the value of R500 a month. Her suggestion was that I get a clothing account! Hahaha, what a joke.

I'm not sure what kind of ridiculous credit check they do, but they've just lost my business (and as a result, my company's). Guess I'll just have to deal with paying Vodacom double what MTN charges
