MTN contracts: Wasted time and money

Old contract ended and then MTN kept giving me the 20 Gb promo data from it and charged me for it. Took about 3 months to get it cancelled and refunded about R3000...

Told MTN to make my number prepaid after cancelling the old contract, didn’t happen...

Went to open a new data contract and MTN had to first cancel the old one and make my number prepaid. Eventually I open my new contract.

Current issue, R200/m data contract was opened end Nov and somehow cancelled end of Nov... no idea why. MTN then bills me for the new contract, a cancellation fee and the old contract amount... I have spent the last month and a bit calling my branch and 135, can’t get anywhere with this company. I have been on hold for hours to 135, and get passed around from one section to the next.

Would not recommend MTN contracts as it ends up costing much more since during the time of inconvenience you are expected to pay even if the company is in the wrong.

Issue still ongoing over a month later.....
