MTN contracts can sometimes be annoying

I really don't understand what's going on I got my contract phone last week Monday and my payment is only due on the 25th today I've woke up to the fact that they say I've exceeded my limit and my call have been suspended. Like how have I exceeded my credit limit while there's a credit limit on my number.
