MTN Contracts are a ****!!

MTN is a complete and utter disappointment. It’s so easy for them to have people be able to go in store for their “deal” contracts but it’s just difficult for them to let you do the same in store transaction for canceling a contract. Recently, I went in store for a cancellation and they said to call the 083135 contract customer line for cancellation which is of no help at all. When it’s time for the agent to transfer your call to the people who action your request, the line dies and when you call back it doesn’t get through. Over and above that, they demand a ridiculous cancellation fee, for a contract that’s no longer fixed. They want a sum of over a thousand rands to cancel two cellphone numbers’ contracts. It makes no sense at all. They deduct absurd amounts of money instead of the amount they stated I would pay for the “deals”. Their social media communication is just as awful if not worse. They drag the process, duck and dive until you forget so they can continue ******** you. I don’t know what process is to be followed in order to get the cancellation I have been requesting a number of times.
