MTN Contract Upgrade nightmare
My latest upgrade is a nightmare. I upgraded two contracts last week via MTN's sales partner RewardsCo. RewardsCo wrongly changed my address to a Germiston address - although my MTN and actual address is in Cape Town for many years. And then delivery of my parcels via DSV: Firstly they tried to deliver in Germiston, then re-route the parcels to Cape Town. Earlier today they 'tried' to deliver one parcel, but my fingerprint on my right thumb did not work. (According to DSV this is a common problem with older people like me.) So they left with my one parcel and requested me a arrange a 'manual' delivery with MTN. After two long phone calls to MTN and RewardsCo the promise was to start the process for a 'manual' delivery within die next 3-5 working days. Thereafter I received a call from DSV trying to arrange delivery of my second parcel, but also with fingerprint identification. MTN's 135 number. Emails to their Customer Care and Complaints addresses as well as Messenger via facebook are all the same - 'We will revert back' or just an automated response - and then nothing further. This is just POOR SERVICE.
