MTN CONTRACT UPGRADE ***** !!! NO HELP FROM MTN

2 years ago I took out contract for a 3G modem with MTN @ R135pm, this contact was due to expire (or be cancelled) on the 20th May 2016.

On the 11th April I noticed a debit order of R429 came off my account from MTN on the 1/04. I then called customer "care" and dealt with Louise Ncube. She advised that I had upgraded to a cellphone contract (which I did NOT) therefore she advised that i should open up a ***** investigation with MTN and i would need an affidavit and a copy of my ID to be sent to her and the matter will be dealt with within 7 days (which has now been 50 days). After numerious calls promises and more calls and more dissapointment from MTN I am still being debited for a cellphone contract which is NOT mine!! Each month I have to go to the bank and reverse the funds...I AM STILL YET TO HEAR BACK OR RECEIVE A REPLY FROM LOUISE NCUBE or anyone at MTN!! If this puts a bad credit rating on my name I am going to be highly outraged as I have had a clean and good payment record to date!! I am not even an MTN subscriber, my cellphone contract is with CELLC!! My ***** case ***. (see below e-mail)

"Good Day

Thank you for the documents as I have escalated your query to the ***** department. Your reference number REQ:***, please allow 5-7 working days for investigation.

Kind Regards,

Louise Ncube [ MTN - Innovation Centre ]
Consumer Post Paid

Cell: +***5"
