MTN CONTRACT TERMINATION SHAMBLES

Further to my review 3 March about my ongoing issues from beginning of the year with MTN, after receiving a response from MTN assuring us the issue was resolved and both contracts in question as per original termination agreement and exorbitant pay out fees were now both settled and transfered into pay as you go contracts. Well huge surprise, another debit order from MTN to my husband's account at the end of March. It costs us money monthly to reverse this debit order and furthermore MTN have no legal right to debit an account for a paid up contract. This needs to be taken higher up the ladder as it is ******* to debit accounts without authorization and if a contract is paid for as per the company's early termination fee etc then they no longer have a right to debit accounts. Absolutely outrageous.

Good day Alice

Thank you for your response. Quoted price from the call centre was paid by us for both accounts. MTN cannot quote a cancellation fee which gets paid then change it after it has been paid. Kindly ensure this unauthorized debit is removed as it has been confirmed more than once that the account is paid in full and converted to pay as you go.

Regards

Good day

Here is a surprise, MTN have AGAIN taken an unauthorized debit from my husband's account which we HAVE AGAIN reversed which has incurred bank charges on our account AGAIN.

How does this get taken further, llegal if necessary, as this is absolutely ridiculous.
