MTN Contract taken out using my personal details but without my knowledge

I found out in December 2018 that my personal details were used to apply for an MTN contract in June 2018, without my knowledge and authorization. I was a victim of identity theft. I have submitted my certified copy of ID and an affidavit. I have been following up for feedback and I was told that they have not received feedback from the ***** department. On the 12 of January 2019, I was contacted by MBDCS demanding payment, which is appalling if you are saying that you are still investigating. I have found your customer service poor and appalling through this experience. You are causing me an emotional distress, please urgently resolve this issue and remove this from my credit record. I have never been an MTN customer and you can be rest assured that I will never ever be an MTN customer after this experience.
