MTN Contract ****!

MTN bunch of ********! They call you to inform your data contract is due for upgrade, Then they make use of a 3rd party called Cell Network to sign you up, They then sell you a contract over the phone (in this case a 50gig anytime and 30gig night package) but after the call they sign you up for a completely different package (20gig day and 20gig night) without your consent. By the time the new contract kicks in and you run out of data halfway through the month you are basically stuck without any internet and have to purchase data pre-paid daily at expensive prices in order to function normally. Then Trying to get their mistake/**** rectified via customer care Thandeka, The local MTN store Nolo, Even went to their Head office in Randburg and was assisted there by Oscar. All these avenues carried absolutely no fruit so after 3-4 weeks they keep on pushing you to upgrade again to another package so that you can pay double initiation fee and early upgrade fee which in my case will be R450-R500 which I already paid for with the ********** contract they signed me up and have to do so again. Louann Munsamy from Cell Network (Afilliated with MTN) was the person who signed me up telephonically with the ********** contract - and she obviously now has disappeared from the face of the planet and don't expect any manager to ever contact you and follow up on your grievances!
