MTN Contract Renewal without my consent. Please cancel it.

I had a data sim contract with Mtn which came to an end July 2023 but Mtn renewed it without my knowledge. The contract came to an end July 2023 and meaning I had to make my last payment end Aug. Apparently I was suppose to cancel it with retention 20 days prior to its end term, which I tried but my calls got canceled each time I was transferred to retention. I've been loyal and paying in time for 24 months. I called again to cancel it in August and stated that I don't afford their new fee as it is now tripple the initial amount I was paying and I don't want the contract anymore. I requested a cancelation letter, I was told it will be terminated end of September. which never happened. I've been calling with no assistance and it's ruining my credit score. Had I've seen the reviews before signing up, I wouldn't have taken the contract. I wrote to every Mtn email address I know I get responses but it never gets canceled. I am frustrated, Mtn should stop this, it's not fair to customers, actually a contract with them is more like a ****. If I sign up for 24 months let it be 24 months, I will decided whether I want to continue with you or not. Why retain it without my consent? Help!!! I DON'T AFFORD THIS THE AMOUNT KEEPS ON INCREASING.
