MTN contract Reconnection

I made a payment for my internet contract on the 25th of June 2024 as im on a month to month contract. Its the 11th of June and my connection is suspended. I tried calling MTN several times and im told that my service is disconnected because I didn’t pay for july. Does that make sense? Please reconnect me or refund me the money I paid for June. This is so pathetic
