Mtn contract nightmare

Mtn how do I get such bad treatment after nearly 8 years of being a loyal customer I have been requesting for months on end to cancel my contract as I cannot afford it anymore and still I am being billed more than double the monthly contract installment someone please help me. All i want to do is cancel the contract
