MTN contract ****ming

On the 4th July 2023. I was told my contact account has come to an end and has been ended. When I call them they even confirm it. Now they said me an invoice statement that I have to pay R800 monthly. They changed my account to month-month without my permission. And they saying they can't cancel it before payment
