MTN CONTRACT INCONSISTENCY
I took out two 24 month contracts with MTN last which ended November and December 2018. Without any written consent the one contract was terminated immediately in November. I noticed in the year 2019 continous debit orders for the 2nd contract. I was referred by the bank to contact MTN personally. I went to a MTN store and the consultants inform me to submit a written cancellantion request and email it. The payment was stopped after reversals were made on my debit orders for the months which exceeded 24months. I am now being threatened by Hammond Pole attorneys for outstanding monies. Im am disappointed in the inconsistency of MTN. I urge consumers to stay away from MTN contract they will damper your credit record.

Our terms and conditions state it is the client responsibility to give MTN notice to cancel the contract. There is no notes placed on the account that the client called in to request cancellation for both numbers or any number.
You need to send proof to MTN that you have requested for cancellation as per the above information.
