MTN contract

I have a problem my contract was handed to lawyers so now they said there is a certain amount that I have to pay in order for me to get back my I paid that amount and sent proof of payment to them and requested that may the put back my number on prepaid still today my number is not working when I call and ask them why is it not working they told me to pay another R2500 to reactivate after the R3000 I already paid
