MTN contract cancelling is impossible

Try to cancel a contract with MTN. You pay a fee (fine) because the contract is still in place. No problem. Try and get confirmation that the contract is cancelled. You get shunted from retentions, to customer care to help line. In the end your next months debit order still has the contract amount, and the fee you have paid is lost. It is pure theft. Not to mention the time wasted talking to *********** staff at the help desk. (which is a contradiction in itself)
