MTN Contract Cancellation: Nightmare

I have been trying to cancel my MTN contract for the last 3 weeks and I have been calling the 135 MTN number which one cannot ever get hold of a consultant. I have also on 2 occasions went to the MTN Stores who advised me that a contract cannot be cancelled in-store and can only be cancelled via the 135 number (Monday-to Friday). Are MTN is the dark ages ???, please can you create a more a pragmatic approach for people to cancel their contracts.
