Mtn contract cancelation denied with in 24hours of contract activation

Hi I have taken out a contract with MTN Blue Route Mall Cape Town yesterday on the 17th October 2020 and today 18th October 2020 returned to the store with in a 24hour period to cancel the contract due to financial and a hasty decision that was made the consultant and store supervisor was very arrogant and unhelpful in the process to cancel the contract they did not want to cancel it and said that I cannot cancel it even through I no for a fact that the consumer protect act states that a contract that you enter into can be canceled within 5 days of activation. The consultant and supervisor at this store said that if I do want to cancel I would incur cancelation fees which would be the price! This is perthetic service and would not recommend anyone else to MTN I am taking this further!
