Mtn contract cancelation

I've requested that my contract be canceled the beginning of August, it was apparently actioned on their system in September and end September was supposed to be my last payment. To date, i still have debit orders going off. I've tried calling, they direct me yo 083808 but this number is inactive, I get cut off. I'm extremely frustrated and not sure what more to do.
