MTN Content Services subscriptions
I am repeatedly getting Content Services subscriptions. The more I delete, the more I get. MTN say they can do nothing about it other than delete it and that this is through adverts on my internet. I do not confirm any adverts on the internet. Some of the subscriptions seem to be MTN operated? Should MTN not give the user an option to block this service platform totally? R3 to R15 per day is excessive and if I don't dial *141*5# I would not know what services are activated. I am literary doing this daily and have not loaded airtime other than MTN to MTN free minutes, as my money is being used to cover these hidden costs. PLEASE HELP. I can change my number, but then I have to inform all creditors and friends of the new number.

Kindly note that you can cancel any subscriptions by dialing *156*12#. You can also download the MyMTN app from your App store where you can delete them as well. The said content charges are charged to your line when you are on the internet and click on a certain button. We cannot control these charges from being charged to your account as these sites do not belong to us.

My problem remains, I may have clicked on one advert a while back due to my phone freezing and when it released I pressed on the wrong place on the screen. My problem is, I will cancel these subscriptions today, but they will just be back tomorrow again. The same ones. Now I cannot load airtime, because these ghost subscriptions remove the funds before I can cancel them. Is there any way I can get re-imbursed for these items, or is there no way MTN can create a function to disable subscriptions? This is afterall a platform created by MTN?
