MTN commits *****
Dear Sir/Madam,<br> <br> On 17 February 2016 I submitted a complaint about MTN overbilling me for data that I did not use. They rectified the problem and stated that upon investigation it was found that I still had data left on my contract and that the bill was send in error. I stated in my previous complaint that I destroyed the sim card and I did! And then I received my bill for March 2016 and I was charged with R43-82 for switched packet data calls!!!!! It is virtually impossible as the sim card has been destroyed!!! This amounts to blatant ***** and I am going to seek advice on the possibility of terminating my data contract before it actually expires. I know it is not a large amount of money, but that's not the point... I don't want to pay for this contract anymore as MTN is still billing me and the sim card doesn't exist anymore. What they are doing is *******!!!!!<br> <br> I am also going to report this to the ombudsman as well as any forum I possible can. The account will be credited for the data charges. The sim card has been suspended due to the confirmation that you have destroyed the sim card.
To cancel the data sim contract early termination fee will apply R313.95 this is for the March invoice not as yet paid for cell *** and the unbilled invoice for April invoice not as yet finalized= R627.90 for the early termination bring your own device package.
