MTN Claims refuse to honour insurance claim

I did an online upgrade on one of my contacts with MTN in May last year and have been paying for insurance on the device since the upgrade. I want to have the screen repaired but MTN Claims department are saying that they only have the imei number for the phone on the previous contract. Despite over 30 emails back and forth MTN Claims are refusing to repair the phone.

I have sent through numerous documents showing that the upgrade was for a Huawei P30 Lite and that I have been paying insurance. The fact that MTN failed to capture the imei number for the device that they couriered to my house is not my problem and is rather incompetence on their part.

MTN Claims are a bunch of *******, taking my money monthly for a year now but then refuse to honour the claim. Ticket numbers for this charade are 492351and 550064 and 701761 plus a few more that I'm not bothered to find now.

Basically MTN Claims are accusing me of trying to commit insurance *****.

I will be canceling all contracts with MTN and I demand a refund for the insurance I've been paying on this contract.
