Mtn changed contract without consent

My husband has a contract with MTN for unlimited data. We have had this contract for many years. Today all of a sudden we recieved a notification. that we do not have any data left. The data is unlimited! We have not upgraded or changed anything on the contact. MTN has changed our contract without consent.
