MTN Cannot Maintain Any Service

Since Early 2020 MTN has continuous outages in my area. We have called in repeatedly but nothing ever gets done.

I believe the tower requires new batteries, but to use load shedding as an excuse is ludicrous. MTN chooses to NOT replace the batteries and because there is load shedding they use it as an excuse to not replace them.

They are quick to say the batteries do not last long during load shedding but I know they have never replaced them. Even when there is no load shedding for a few months when it starts again the tower immediately goes offline.

To make matters worse they are also responsible for an LTE network issue. I use Afrihost who has advised me the fault is on MTN's side.

This is a double whammy, first, they are not competent enough to replace batteries and on top of that cannot maintain an LTE service. This is disgusting service.
