Mtn cancellation impossible

I had an mtn contract a few years ago and it seems like history is repeating itself. Cancelling a contract with Mtn is like climbing Everest. I have called several times NOBODY picks up the phone, but when you call 135 and select UPGRAGE option, the phone is quickly picked up, and hmmmm. I bet you there is nobody manning the phones in the cancellation department. Mtn I just want to cancel the contract if this goes on for any longer I am porting to another Network!
